Xantrex brings the next generation of inverter/charger to market, with the XW Hybrid Inverter/Charger, the heart of the XW System. The XW Hybrid Inverter/Charger (XW) is a true sine wave, 120/240-volt AC, split-phase, inverter/charger that incorporates a DC to AC inverter, a battery charger, and a 60A AC auto-transfer switch. It is the foundation for battery- based residential and commercial applications up to 18 kilowatts (kW) Capable of being grid-interactive or grid-independent, the XW can operate with generators and renewable energy sources to provide full time or backup power. Includes wall mount, backplate.

 

Designed with consultation and input from industry experts, dealers, and installers, the XW sets a new standard for battery-based inverter/chargers. The PVI 1800/PVI 2500 can be installed easily and quickly, both indoors and outdoors. With a weight of 35 lb. (16 kg) (compared to an average 70 lb..(32 kg) for a typical inverter) the PVI 1800/PVI 2500 is very easy to handle. The inverters also include ‘pre-wired’ AC and DC cables for quick wiring at the jobsite without opening the inverter!

SAFETY
The PVI 1800/PVI 2500 has been tested to the UL1741 standard and meets all the requirements. An important selling point of this inverter is the galvanic isolation, which increases both reliability and safety.

All aluminium construction and high efficiency design provides full rated power in ambient temperatures up to 140°F (60°C). No derating will occur!
